Dr. Kelly M. Vogel is a dermatologist with experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology practicing in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a local New Orleanian, having graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and from Louisiana State University with summa cum laude honors. She then went on to attend LSU-New Orleans School of Medicine (LSU-NO SOM), where she graduated at the top of her class.
Dr. Vogel remained in town for her internship in Internal Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine followed by her residency in Dermatology at LSU-NO SOM. During residency, Dr. Vogel published research relevant to the field of dermatology, presented at numerous conferences and meetings, and received a “Trainee of the Year” award from the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital System.
Dr. Vogel is passionate about serving her community and her patients. During medical school, she led Sun Protection Outreach Teaching to local students and helped develop an outreach program for the New Orleans Women’s and Children’s Shelter (NOWCS).
As a dermatologist, Dr. Vogel provides her patients with exceptional care and is committed to helping them reach their goals. She treats patients of all ages with a broad range of skin conditions. She is passionate about lifelong learning and maintains active memberships with the following organizations: The American Academy of Dermatology, The American Society for Dermatologic surgery, The Women’s Dermatology Society and Louisiana Dermatology Society.
Dr. Vogel is married to a fellow physician practicing in New Orleans. They have one child, a handsome young son. She is the daughter of Dr. Kenneth Vogel, a retired neurosurgeon who practiced for over 50 years in New Orleans, and she is proud to carry on the medical tradition of her family.
